The Red Wing Shoe Company has been building purpose-built boots for work since 1905 and hunting since 1929. The Irish Setter Brand was born out of this legacy.

Since 1950, boots known as the “Irish Setter” were made specifically for hunting. By the 1970s, those boots were making their way to workplaces as the quality of construction and durability of the boots suited the needs of the American worker.

Today, Irish Setter boots continue to deliver on this heritage of excellence, confidently leading hunters and workers into any terrain – in all weather conditions and back out again.
