Their boutique factory, Trend Studio Bali, is female owned and 95% of the management is female led. Trend Studio Bali's mission is to elevate women everywhere in the world and offer opportunities to women that have long been held by men. The factory implements eco-friendly practices, like the fabric upcycling program. This is done by organizing the collection of fabric scraps to be used by local villagers to make other items, like bags & dolls, that they can sell to support the local villages of Bali. Trend Studio Bali also is committed to providing safe, respectful and fair working conditions for all of the employees. They pay fair wages, provide pensions, health care and continuing education for all of their employees. Employees of the factory are expected to work the standard 8 hour work day and are provided overtime pay and meal allowances, following the strict labor practices that are put forth in the United States as a guideline.
